An invasion of all things bright and filled with color was at the forefront of almost every designer’s thought process this year at IWFS. Some executed the notion a little better than others.
Jose Luis Gonzalez is one of them.
Swimwear in the vein of bikinis and embellished printed caftans ruled a few of the looks from his collection, offering something for every woman with different body types.
Linen gypsy skirts also made an appearance, offering a slightly modest option to those who want the option of not showing a huge amount of skin, but still maintaining femininity. The collection wasn’t devoid of color and reimagined patterns.
Boatneck dresses, crochet knit tops, neon separates and printed tops were a few of the options that caught the attention of many onlookers. And a floral dress fused with an almost houndstooth, gingham effect was an obvious showstopper.
A few options for men also had their moment in the sun in the form of linen outfits. The embroidery around the neckline of these men’s shirts was impeccably done.
