Nassau, Bahamas -- 'Left! Left! Left, Right, Left!'

Stand in your positions, it's Bahamian designer Kevin Evans with his infantry decked out in military inspired attire at this year’s Islands of The World Fashion Week.

Evans' designs were a true testament of his belief that fashion builds confidence. Evans and his army wowed the audience with his interpretation of a modern day soldier, parading the fashion streets.

With bold colors like burnt orange, dark brown and bold red, models marched down the runway in this season's cool corduroy with simplistic details that deemed the looks 'sharp' and 'unstoppable'.

Heating up the stage was a burnt orange corduroy trouser with a vest and a white button down jacket, fitted to perfection. Next, a bold red and tan blazer, finished off with a tan trouser and bossy shoes.

"Fashion is another way of expressing the way you feel," said Evans.

Dainty pockets were carefully placed on the hips, waist, and even ankles of his pieces. Bold buttons took their stance on all ends of slacks and on the back of blazers. Button down shirts were fit to its best and carefully cuffed at the wrist. It was a showcase of sculpted men in well constructed clothes.

Being the innovative designer that he is, Evans brought an edge to the runway. From the wardrobe to the demeanor of his soldiers, the message was clear - these styles meant business.

A dark brown outfit made its way out next with a pure white button down adding the finishing touch.

"Regardless of the color, texture or style fashion builds self esteem," a confident Evans told reporters. His looks commanded the stage. "Once you look good, you feel good and it puts you in the right attitude.'
